The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
