▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the moon, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 it is a warning to man, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
