The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
