The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
