The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
