The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
