Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
