Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
