The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
