The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
