The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A flaming fire! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
