The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
