The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A flaming fire! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
