The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a blazing fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
