The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
