The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
