The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The Calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
