Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
