Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 until you reach your graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
