Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The craving for ever-greater worldly gains and to excel others in that regard keeps you occupied 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things) 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8
