Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
