Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
