Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
