The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the passage of time, 1 that man is surely in a state of loss, 2 Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience. 3

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
