The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
