The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9
