Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7
Ask them, "Who can protect them from (the wrath of) the Beneficent God during the night and day?" Yet they are neglectful about their Lord. 42 Or have they gods who can shield them from Us? They cannot help themselves nor can they be defended from Us. 43 Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win? 44 Say: 'I warn you only by the Revelation'; but they that are deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. 45 And if a breath (minor calamity) of the Torment of your Lord touches them, they will surely cry: "Woe unto us! Indeed we have been Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). 46 And We shall set up the scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection – therefore no soul will be wronged in the least; and if a thing is equal to a grain of mustard seed, We will bring it; and We are Sufficient to (take) account. 47 And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous 48 These who fear their Lord unseen, and who are of the Hour fearful. 49 This is a blessed Remembrance which We have sent down. Do you disbelieve it? 50
