The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
