The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In extending columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
