The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
