Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
