In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 He created man from a clot. 2 Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 who, by the pen, taught the human being: 4 taught Man that he knew not. 5 Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds, 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the returning. 8 Have you seen one who prevents 9 A bondman when he offers the prayer? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 He would enjoin piety, so how good it would be! 12 Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? 13 Does he not know that Allah does see? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 and We too will call the stern and angry keepers of hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
