Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
