T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 But when he came close to it, a voice called out: "O Moses! 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour. 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 [Allah] said, "Throw it down, O Moses." 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents, 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
