Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
