The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 for what sin she was slain, 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 The curtain drawn back from the skies, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Where then will you go? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
