Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
