Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
