Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
