Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Descendants of Israel (Jacob)! Remember My favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant towards Me, I shall fulfil My covenant towards you; and fear Me alone. 40 Believe in My revelations (Quran) that confirms what I revealed to you (about Prophet Muhammad in your Scripture). Do not be the first ones to deny it nor sell My revelations for a small price, but have fear of Me. 41 And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it). 42 And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 And seek assistance through patience and prayer, and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones, 45 Who know that they shall meet their Lord and that they shall return to Him. 46
