Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 to those who make display 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
