Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
