Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
