Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O children of Israel! Just recall to mind My favour wherewith I blessed you fulfil your covenant with Me and I shall fulfil My covenant with you, and fear Me alone. 40 And believe in the message I have sent down which fulfils that [predictions about the last prophet in their Scripture] which you already possess and do not be foremost among those who deny its truth. Do not sell My revelations for a paltry price; fear Me alone. 41 And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth [i.e. Muhammad Peace be upon him is Allah's Messenger and his qualities are written in your Scriptures, the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you know (the truth). 42 Be firm in devotion; give zakat (the due share of your wealth for the welfare of others), and bow with those who bow (before God). 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before Me with sincerity. 45 who are certain of their meeting with their Lord and their return to Him. 46
