VERILY, God does not forgive the ascribing of divinity to aught beside Him, although He forgives any lesser sin unto whomever He wills: for those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God have indeed gone far astray. 116 (The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel! 117 whom God has rejected. He said [to God], "I will assuredly take a number of Your servants, 118 And most certainly I will lead them astray and excite in them vain desires, and bid them so that they shall slit the ears of the cattle, and most certainly I will bid them so that they shall alter Allah's creation; and whoever takes the Shaitan for a guardian rather than Allah he indeed shall suffer a manifest loss. 119 he holds out promises to them, and fills them with vain desires: yet whatever Satan promises them is but meant to delude the mind. 120 For such, their habitation will be hell, and they will find no refuge therefrom. 121 And those who believed and did good deeds – We shall soon admit them into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in them for ever and ever; a true promise from Allah; and whose Words are more true than those of Allah? (Allah does not lie.) 122 It is not your fancies, nor the fancies of the People of the Book. Whosoever does evil shall be recompensed for it, and will not find for him, apart from God, a friend or helper. 123 Any believer, male or female, who acts righteously, will enter Paradise and will not suffer the least bit of injustice. 124 And who is there that has a fairer religion than he who submits his will to God being a good-doer, and who follows the creed of Abraham, a man of pure faith? And God took Abraham for a friend. 125 And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is Ever Encompassing all things. 126
