The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

ALL PRAISE BE to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 the Path of those upon whom You have favored, not those upon whom is the anger, nor the astray. (Amen please answer) 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
