The tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59
