The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
