The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Guide us in the straight path, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
