The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone turn for help. 5 Guide us the straight way. 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
